Why PDFolio exists
PDF tasks are often small but important: merge a contract, crop a scanned form, extract a page, add a watermark, or create a PDF from photos. Many of these jobs do not need an account or a server-side document upload. PDFolio makes that local-first path easy to use.
Built for practical work
PDFolio focuses on common file operations including merging, splitting, reordering, rotating, deleting, extracting, compressing, cropping, resizing, converting, annotating, and protecting PDFs. Each workspace is designed to make options clear before processing begins.
Privacy is a product choice
PDFolio runs as a static web application. Your selected file is processed in the active browser tab instead of being sent to a document-processing backend. There are no user accounts, advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or cloud file store.
Our approach
We prefer clear limits over inflated claims. If a browser-based tool cannot reliably preserve a complex document feature, PDFolio explains the trade-off so you can choose the right workflow for your file.
