Fill interactive AcroForm text fields, checkboxes, radio groups, and dropdowns in a PDF and optionally lock the completed form. Complete tax forms, government applications, onboarding packets, or HR agreements without uploading personal data to a cloud form service.
Works on standard PDF AcroForms. Flat scanned forms without interactive fields should be completed using Fill & Sign or Annotate PDF.
How PDFolio helps you fill PDF form
PDFolio enumerates every AcroForm widget using pdf-lib, matches your field keys by exact or partial case-insensitive name, populates text/checkbox/dropdown states, and regenerates field appearances.
To place a visual signature or free-positioned text on a flat PDF without form fields, use Fill & Sign.
Before you download
Enable Flatten form after filling if you are sending the completed form to someone else and do not want your entries altered.
When the result is ready, download it immediately and open it in your usual PDF viewer to make a final check. You can then use Clear task data to release temporary file references from this browser tab. PDFolio does not create an account, cloud folder, or server-side document history.
A private way to fill PDF form
PDFolio handles the selected files in the active browser tab. A Web Worker on your device performs the PDF task so the interface can remain responsive; document bytes are not sent to a PDF processing server, upload queue, account database, or advertising platform.

- Add an interactive PDF form.
- Enter field values as Name = Value lines (or leave empty first to inspect all discovered field names in the output summary).
- Toggle Flatten form if you want to lock your answers permanently, then process and download.
Conviene saber: If you do not know the internal field names, run the tool once with empty values—the status banner lists all detected field names.

Add your PDF and click Process once with the values box empty; PDFolio will list the exact field names found in the document.
How do I check a checkbox field?
Enter FieldName = true (or yes / checked) on its own line.
Does fill PDF form change my original file?
No. PDFolio creates a new file for download. Your source file remains unchanged on your device.
