Questions, feedback, and privacy requests.

We welcome product feedback and reports that make PDFolio clearer, more reliable, and more private. One request before you write: never send sensitive documents or passwords in a support message.

For product feedback, accessibility requests, privacy questions, press enquiries, or a reproducible bug, email hello@thepdfolio.com. Messages are read by the people who build the site. We aim to reply to substantive reports within a few working days, though a question that needs investigation may take longer than a question that does not.

Reporting a processing issue

Because PDFolio runs on your device rather than on our servers, we cannot look up what went wrong in a log — a failed task leaves no trace anywhere except your own browser. That makes the detail in your message unusually important. A useful report includes the tool name, your browser and version, your operating system and device type, the settings you chose, what you expected, and what you got instead. If the browser console showed an error, the exact text of it is worth more than a paragraph of description.

Please do not attach the original PDF unless you have confirmed it contains nothing sensitive and you are content for it to sit in an email inbox. In most cases a description of the document's shape — page count, whether it is a scan, whether it is password-protected, roughly how large — is enough for us to reproduce the problem with a file of our own.

Accessibility

If a workspace is difficult to operate with a keyboard, a screen reader, or at a high zoom level, we want to know. Accessibility reports are treated as bugs rather than feature requests. Tell us which tool and which assistive technology, and describe the point at which the interface stopped being usable.

Privacy and data requests

PDFolio has no accounts, so there is no profile to export or delete. The personal data connected to your visit is the analytics and advertising data described in the Privacy Policy, which also explains how to opt out of personalised advertising. If you have a specific request under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, or another applicable regime, send it to hello@thepdfolio.com and we will respond within the period the law requires.

Security reports

If you believe you have found a security problem — a way to make the site load untrusted code, or anything that could expose a user's document outside their own tab — please email hello@thepdfolio.com with the details and give us a reasonable opportunity to fix it before disclosing publicly. Reports of this kind go to the front of the queue.
