About convert PDF to images

Export selected PDF pages as PNG or JPG images. Use it when a PDF page needs to appear in a presentation, chat, document editor, or another place where an image is easier to use than a PDF.

Exporting needs OffscreenCanvas, which Chrome, Edge, and Firefox provide but older Safari versions do not; the tool says so rather than failing quietly. Pages render at a scale factor defaulting to 1.5x, and raising it to High quality (2x) gives sharper archival output at the cost of memory and time. PNG is lossless and larger, JPEG is written at 88 percent quality. Every page becomes a separate download, so a long document produces a long list of files, and the rendered pages are pictures: the text in them is no longer selectable or searchable.
