About delete PDF pages

Remove unwanted pages from a copy of a PDF. Remove blank scans, an accidental cover sheet, duplicate pages, or material that should not appear in a new copy of a document.

Deletion works on the current document's page numbering, and a PDF must keep at least one page, so an export that would remove everything is refused rather than producing an unopenable file. The pages that remain are untouched, but the document's outline is not rewritten, so bookmarks that pointed at deleted pages can be left dangling. Because a new file is produced, the original on your device is unchanged and remains the copy to return to if you remove the wrong page.

Deleting is the natural choice when most of the document should survive.
