About extract pages from PDF

Save selected pages together as a new PDF. Make a clean PDF containing a signed page, a receipt in a packet, an appendix, or selected pages to send to another person.

Extraction always produces exactly one file, and the selected pages appear in ascending document order regardless of the order you picked them in, so this is not a way to reorder a document. Repeating a page in the selection does not duplicate it in the output. As with the other page operations, only page content is copied: form fields and bookmark outlines are not carried into the new file. The source document is left exactly as it was.

How PDFolio helps you extract pages from PDF

Select adjacent or non-adjacent pages in the preview, or enter a list such as 1,3,7-9. PDFolio exports those pages in their original document order as one new PDF, without removing them from the source.

Extract gives you one document. When you need several separate files, Split PDF is the tool that produces a file per range or per page in a single pass. If the pages you want need to end up in an order different from the original, extract them first and then use Organize PDF on the result, since extraction alone will always sort them.

A private way to extract pages from PDF

PDFolio handles the selected files in the active browser tab. A Web Worker on your device performs the PDF task so the interface can remain responsive; document bytes are not sent to a PDF processing server, upload queue, account database, or advertising platform.
