About rotate PDF pages

Turn selected PDF pages clockwise or counter-clockwise. Correct a sideways scan, fix one upside-down page in a packet, or turn a landscape page without affecting the rest of the document.

Rotation is cumulative rather than absolute: the amount you choose is added to each page's existing rotation and wrapped at 360 degrees, so applying 90 degrees twice leaves a page upside down. This is worth knowing when a document already contains pages at mixed angles, because the same setting will not straighten all of them. Rotation sets the page's orientation flag rather than re-rendering its content, which means text stays selectable, quality is untouched, and the file size barely changes. Only the pages you select are affected.
